Congratulations to the Department of Health (DOH) Philippines for being chosen as one of the finalists at the prestigious Marketing Excellence Awards 2021 for the COVID-19 information campaign, B.I.D.A., which stands for in Filipino, B-awal walang mask, I-sanitize ang mga kamay, D-umistansya ng isang metro, at A-lamin ang totoong impormasyon. Through the support of a communications grant from USAID, DOH worked with GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications Inc. (GMCI) to come up with an information campaign that could amplify an important life-saving message: every Filipino is part of the solution to win the fight against the pandemic.
To ensure the widest reach for the campaign, DOH and GMCI collaborated with the country’s private sector to ensure that the campaign reached every corner of the archipelago. Now on its 10th year, the Marketing Excellence Awards 2021 by Marketing Interactive honors outstanding achievements across the marketing communications industry. The final winners will be announced on January 28, 2022.
