It's not often that we come across a young woman whose appearance belies her know-how in her chosen field. Diminutive in stance yet huge in technological experience, Angie has taken the local tech sector by storm. The founder and CEO of groundbreaking motorcycle ride-hailing app Angas, Angie is no stranger to the tech industry.
She is a serial entrepreneur who launched one of the top online auction outfits in Singapore called Sold.sg. She later joined a Softbank Affiliated Fund focused on investments in SEA and Philippines. After her stint there, she joined Grab where she started Grab Bike and Grab Express in the Philippines.
With her experience, she founded Angkas in 2017. Angkas, today, is the most popular ride-hailing and delivery service app for motorcycles in the country with over 16,000 partner drivers and close to a million downloads.
Her talk in the 2018 edition of Digicon--the largest event for digital in the Philippines--showed why Angie is one of the prime movers of disruptive innovation in technology in the Philippines.
